Impressed with French

It took a little time. When I first bumped heads with Al French in the political arena several years ago, I thought I’d have an adversary for life. We didn’t seem to agree on much.

Time passed and Mr. French and I took longer looks at the issues and not only worked out the kinks, but worked together. How often does that happen in politics?

Perhaps the most impressive realization for me regarding Al French was that he was always working in the best interest of the people. Want to save taxpayer dollars? Vote for Al French. Want to invest in projects with long-term payoffs for the county? Vote for Al French. Want to see real experience from years serving our citizens in one capacity or another? Vote for Al French.

Al French started serving his neighbors and his country as a U.S. Marine and has never stopped that desire to serve others. This is a rare opportunity for the people of Spokane County to elect quality instead of blindly following the sheepherders who scream for party politics instead of people politics.

I strongly urge the voters of Spokane County to elect Al French as our newest county commissioner.

I know I will.
