Billig’s resume ideal

On July 31, The Spokesman-Review published an editorial explaining why Andy Billig is the best choice to replace Alex Wood in the 3rd Legislative District. Along with this endorsement, Andy has been chosen as the Democratic nominee for the 3rd District. He has also received endorsements from the Washington Education Association, Spokane Association of Realtors and Washington State Labor Council, among many others. There is good reason for their confidence.

Andy holds a degree in government from Georgetown University. He is the president of the Spokane Indians baseball club, where he has worked for the past 18 years to help make a local small business thrive. Andy also has extensive experience as a volunteer in the community, including his current role as a board member for the YMCA.

In short, he understands the political, business and community aspects of the issues that are important to us. If you wanted a formula for an ideal candidate for the 3rd District, you’d be hard- pressed to find better than the experience of Andy Billig.
