Prosecutor with a work ethic

As I watch candidates in other local races, I recall who many used to be and where they came from. One candidate still provides memories of outstanding performance. Spokane County Deputy Prosecutor Dave Stevens was the hardest working, most serious and most likely to accept a challenge, that I had the good fortune to work with.

During my many years as a Spokane police detective, I had the frequent opportunity to pick a prosecutor to work with on those criminals who deserved “special attention.” Dave Stevens became my prosecutor of choice. Watching Dave’s consistent work ethic over the years built a foundation of trust, not only in his willingness to take the hard cases, but also in his continually making the right decisions.

These are the simple qualities that set Dave apart from the other candidates. Dave manages by example. This is what most would call true leadership. Leading by example may resolve many of the current issues within the Spokane County prosecutor’s office.

Dave’s solid work ethic and willingness to take on a challenge may solve the rest. Vote for Dave Stevens for Spokane County prosecutor. It’s time to take pride in our Spokane County prosecutor again.
