Gesture deserves support

What a wonderful thing the Shegruds are doing in working to arrange support for families experiencing medical emergencies in Spokane (“Comfort in crisis,” Aug. 9). And what a beautiful memorial to Micah Miller.

I’ve long felt that we need a facility like the Ronald McDonald House but for adult patients and their families. I hope this community, which plays host to so many visitors with medical needs, will be able and willing to support this worthwhile project.
