Check the record

Many of us are not fooled by the disinformation from Chris Marr’s re-election campaign to the state Senate.

They claim that Marr is “stubbornly independent.” Wrong. He is the Democratic majority whip, responsible for ensuring his colleagues toe the party line.

He represents you? No. Chris is a free-spending liberal Democrat who has voted for billions of dollars in increased state expenditure over the last four years, which we cannot afford and will cost many of us jobs.

Now they claim Marr is good for small business and economic growth. No again. He got terrible ratings from our leading business organizations – a 43 percent lifetime rating from the Association of Washington Business, a 40 percent 2010 rating from small business advocates NFIB and a glowing 75 percent lifetime rating from the Washington State Labor Council. Who does he represent?

We must watch what politicians do and not what they say because their goal is to keep their jobs, not to represent you or defend our liberty.

Marr will say whatever it takes to get re-elected, but his voting record is there in black and white. Be very careful how you vote and vote out the politicians who are destroying our children’s future.
