Muslim abuses documented

Wayne Kraft decries “discrimination” against non-ethnic Jews in Israel (Letters, Aug. 10).

He should be at least as concerned about Muslim violence done to non-Muslims in Muslim-dominated countries. Murder, rape, robberies, kidnapping and forced marriages to Muslim men are commonplace, and Islamic authorities protect Muslims from punishment.

Research the archives of the website www.jihadwatch.org for articles about present-day Muslim treatment of Christian Copts in Egypt, Christians and Hindus in Pakistan, and non-Muslims in Turkey, India, Thailand and Indonesia.

The book “The Myth of Islamic Tolerance: How Islamic Law Treats Non-Muslims,” edited by Robert Spencer, documents these historical abuses.
