Pat-downs too personal

Like many people, I don’t like the new Transportation Security Administration procedures for getting through the airport security lines. I personally think the whole idea of checking each passenger has gone way too far.

I fly a lot and have flown in and out of many airports. When I flew home last summer out of Columbus, Ohio, as far as I know every passenger goes through a whole body scan. To me, it was a piece of cake, and I can’t understand people getting all upset over these. It actually didn’t take any longer than going through a regular security. I personally would rather have a full body scan than have a stranger pat me down and get too friendly.

Somehow, and in the near future, our government needs to figure out a way to make flying more enjoyable and not so intrusive. How about looking at how other countries do security procedures, Israel for example, or it probably is just too simple.
