Restore plow attachments

With the recent “snow emergency,” I would like to know why the city doesn’t have adjustable wings on their plows to keep the side streets from getting plowed in. I work for a small company off of Market Street, and while turning off Market, I was lucky enough to get stuck in the plow remnants from a previous pass.

Keep in mind our business driveway is no more than 30 feet off the street, so it shouldn’t be that hard to make it. If I recall correctly, they used to have wings on the plows back in the ’80s. Why did they go away from them? Looks like I’ll just have to wait for the plows to go by again and then go and shovel the intersection out so I can make it home.
