Vandals edge SJSU in OT

The Vandals, after a stinging defeat in the final seconds last week, blocked a San Jose State field goal attempt to force overtime and scored the game-winning TD on a 23-yard connection from Eric Greenwood to Nate Enderle to win 26-23 . Idaho closed the year 6-7, one win from bowl eligibility. It trailed 13-3 in the second half, then came back to take a 20-13 lead. After SJSU tied the game, it forced a Vandal punt and drove down the field in the last minute. But Thaad Thompson blocked a would-be game-winner and the Vandals scored the only TD of overtime.
