WSU players charged in marijuana arrest
COUGARS • UPDATED: 2:10 P.M.
A quick post concerning an old story. The two Washington State football players who were arrested, and suspended from the team, in October have been charged in Whitman County Superior Court. Read on.

• Andre Barrington and Jamal Atofau, arrested in the early morning hours of Oct. 10, were formally charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, specifically marijuana, earlier today, along with the two others arrested at the time. We have a story for you here . Though coach Paul Wulff is out of pocket right now (he’s recruiting), I expect some sort of statement today, possibly just to reiterate the two are suspended and a final disposition will be made when Wulff returns to Pullman. My guess is, though, the two will never play for WSU again – and yes, I know Barrington never did. • UPDATE: My guess was right. Both players have been dismissed from the team. Have updated the story with the news. Don’t expect any comment from Paul Wulff today.

• That’s it for now. Until later …
