Post Falls Man Shoots Self After Stop

An Idaho man is in critical condition after shooting himself in the head following a traffic stop north of Roseburg on Interstate 5 on Sunday. Igor V. Niaki, 31, of Post Falls, Idaho, is in critical condition at a Springfield, Ore., hospital, police said Monday morning. Sgt. Dave Randall said a driver barricaded himself inside his pickup around 8:42 p.m. Sunday after a trooper noticed the driver was visibly intoxicated.
