Eastern loses heartbreaker to UNC

The driving layup attempt by Eastern Washington’s Glen Dean was blocked at the buzzer by Northern Colorado’s Elloitt Lloyd, giving the Bears a 75-73 Big Sky Basketball win over the Eagles at Reese Court on Friday afternoon.

Eastern’s four guards — Dean, Jeffrey Forbes, Clff Colimon and Kevin Winford — combined bor 60 points, but it wasn’ t enough to save the Eagles.
