Safe streets at stake

The Spokesman-Review

I was elated to hear that Dave Stevens is running for Spokane County prosecutor. A hero by even the toughest standard, Dave Stevens has committed his life to pursuing justice and making our neighborhoods safe. As someone who has prosecuted thousands of cases, including over 100 jury trials, his experience and dedication is obvious.

Dave Stevens is the prosecutor who keeps Spokane’s career criminals off of our streets and behind bars, which is why it’s so upsetting to see his job taken from him and our safety put at risk, simply in retaliation for his decision to run for Spokane County prosecutor. We can’t afford not to have Dave working for us in the prosecutor’s office, so I hope you will join me in voting this fall to elect Dave Stevens as our Spokane County prosecutor.
