Media mask phony claims

The Spokesman-Review

The national media have become such public relations agents for liberals and Democrats that they apparently think they can tell any lie, break any promise or stretch any story and get away with it with impunity.

How else can one explain Biden claiming that Iraq is one of Barack Obama’s great achievements when Obama and Biden voted against the surge and Obama voted against the 2007 funding bill for military operations in Iraq? These people – Obama and Biden – give even politicians a bad name. They did everything to make the Iraq effort fail; now they claim they made it successful. Unbelievable!

Since the surge, over the past two years, security incidents, high-profile attacks, civilian casualties and U.S. casualties have all dropped by 90 percent or more in Iraq.
