Vandals stumble at La Tech

Make it three straight losses for Idaho. The Vandals put together another feeble offensive showing and lost 60-49 at Lousiana Tech on Saturday evening. UI shot just 39% and was 3 of 15 from 3-point range against the Bulldogs, who rebounded from a stunning loss to Boise State two days earlier.

Idaho is 13-15 and 4-10 in the WAC. It will lock up a spot in the WAC tournament if it gains a split against San Jose State and Hawaii at home next week in the final two regular season games of the year. But getting past SJSU will be tricky — the Spartans throttled Fresno State Saturday and beat UI earlier this year.
