Walking through downtown Spokane recently, I was pleased to see that, even in today’s era of “political correctness,” the Macy’s store still is displaying the Madonna and Child on the corner of its building. Thank you, Macy’s, for continuing this Spokane Christmas tradition. It makes me glad I bought my wife’s Christmas perfume at your store.

Happy holidays. No, how about season’s greetings? Nope, still not right. Merry Christmas, and God bless everyone.
