Sisyphus: Hahahahahahahaha. Nothing like pissing off a judge right out of the gate. The TRO has to be bonded to cover the costs in the event the reasons underlying the TRO are later found to be groundless. There is zero reason this couldn’t have been done weeks ago. Typically this procedure is followed when the status quo has to be preserved and the other side hasn’t a lawyer. That isn’t the case here. In fact, Brannon’s overtures for discussion and possible resolution were never consummated. Plus he has to show a likelihood of success on the merits in the overall lawsuit as well as irreparable harm if the TRO isn’t entered. Mr. Gridley will surely argue that irreparable harm will ensue if the election winners are NOT seated. Motion denied.
