Special hugs and prayers to Jim Dickinson. He’s starting out the new year with serious health challenges but is surrounded by the love of family and friends. Jim has many claims to fame … in addition to looking remarkably like town founder Frederick Post and being a familiar face at every golf course within a hundred-mile radius, Jim was the man at the helm of the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce more than two decades ago. In 1988, as president, Jim rallied volunteers, hit up donors and convinced then-Governor Cecil Andrus to come cut the ribbon on the new chamber building located right on I-90. With a population of just over 5,000 at the time, it was a huge deal in Post Falls/ Kerri Thoreson , Main Street. More here .
