HBO Poll: Pick Trustees By District?
In the Coeur d’Alene Press coverage of Robert Ketchum’s ouster as NIC’s workforce
training director, state Rep. Bob Nonini, R-Post Falls, claims that college leadership isn’t accountable to its “stakeholders.” He then goes on to say claim that there’s no local control of the college (even though all five trustees are elected locally). And suggested that “stakeholders” would be better represented if the trustees were elected from geographic zones throughout the county rather than simply being required to live within the district. - Thursday’s Poll: 72 of 108 (67 percent) of the respondents voted that Real Life Ministries correctly handled the situation involving former youth volunteer Jordan Vernon, who has been charged with sex crimes involving under-age girls. 21 of 108 (19 percent) said the church didn’t handle the situation properly.
