In the comments section Friday, OrangeTV predicts “Adam Johnson will become somewhat of a local folk hero for keeping ‘out of town ruffians’ in check. Don’t mess with the 208. I’m not necessarily saying I think he deserves it, just a prediction … ” The HBO Weekend Poll picks up on this theme: “How will Adam Johnson be viewed in Coeur d’Alene now?”

• TGIF Poll: Merry Hucksters were split with 35 of 79 (44%) voting that North Idaho College trustees running at large for office as they do now, and 34 of 79 saying they should be required to live in and run by zones.
• Mora Poll: 45 of 80 (56%) agreed with the Seahawks decision to fire Coach Jim Mora; 12 of 80 (15%) didn’t and 23 (29%) didn’t care either way.
