I read today’s (Jan. 6) article on the red light cameras with complete disgust.

My disgust lies in the fact that we actually have to put up cameras to catch the stupid people who blatantly disobey such a fundamental and necessary traffic rule.

I mean, how hard can it be? Green means go, red means stop. It’s not rocket science, folks.

I say we put the cameras at every traffic-lighted intersection. Perhaps instead of fines, we should revoke their driver’s licenses and confiscate their vehicles.
