• Around the Pac-10: There are no Pacific 10 Conference basketball teams in the national rankings for the first time since, well since I was a young man (1987 to be exact). … The Huskies were the last team standing, but two road losses knocked them out. … SI.com’s Seth Davis thinks the best major conference race in the nation will be in the Pac-10. And the stakes could be the highest as well. … LaMicheal James is going to run track for Oregon. By joining the track team, now he’s got a chance to become a real star on that campus.
