HBO Poll: Butch Budget Lacks Vision

• Tuesday Poll: A plurality of 48 of 121 (40 percent) voted that Gov Butch Otter’s tight-fisted approach to his proposed budget lacks vision. 34 of 121 (28 percent) felt he’s “doing the best he can” in a bad economic time. 18 (15%) voted that he shouldn’t cut education. And 15 (12%) believe that he should make even deeper cuts in his proposed budget.
• Obama Poll: In a second poll Tuesday, exactly 50 percent of you Merry Hucksters (83 of 166) awarded President Obama failing grades (D’s or F’s) for his first year in office. 34 percent (57 of 166) gave him A’s and B’s. And 11 gave him “incompletes.”
