3:09 p.m. CPD Blue, with assist from other agencies, caught Brian Kincaid, 27, of CdA in parking lot of Kootenai Title/1450 Northwest Blvd. According to CPD Blue spokeswoman Christie Wood, Kincaid was wanted in 2 violent assaults against the same woman, including one in which he allegedly pistol-whipped her last night in an apartment @ 1905 Appleway. A male in vehicle w/Kincaid allegedly had a concealed weapon w/o a permit for one.

• 3:43 p.m. A tree has fallen, knocking down live power lines and trapping a person in a vehicle, on Mineral Drive/CdA.
