Cloudy with a chance of fun

It was Seattle dreary in Spokane today. Rainy and dark before it should have been. But the people waiting in line to get into the Arena at 3:30 this afternoon were laughing, smiling and looking pretty darn cheery.

The big show, the men’s championship, was over. Those waiting in line (and the line stretched into the parking lot at the Arena) were waiting to get in to see the Novice Men’s Short Program.

Not a bad antidote to the Sunday winter blahs, Seattle-style.
