OpenCDA.com Shocked @ Bell Pledge

At OpenCDA.com, Mary Souza is writing about “more arrogance at NIC” — her words, not mine — after a couple of her “shocked and dismayed” readers reported back from the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce banquet. Seems NIC President Priscilla Bell (pictured) pledged $3000 to sponsor a railing for the new Post Falls chamber building. Apparently, one asked Bell if she had pledged her own money and was told that it was the college’s. The other OpenCDA.com reader said: ” In this economy with education cuts, how does she have the audacity to spend public money for such a thing?” S/he noted that recently fired workforce training director Robert Ketchum was in the room, adding: “I find this to be incredibly irresponsible and am absolutely shocked!”
