Zags hold off Pepperdine, 91-84
Senior guard Matt Bouldin scored a career-high 32 points as Gonzaga built a big early lead and held off scrappy Pepperdine 91-84 Thursday at the McCarthey Athletic Center
No. 15 GU (15-3 overall) took sole possession of first place in the West Coast Conference at 4-0. Pepperdine dropped to 7-13, 3-1.
Gonzaga led by 10 (14-4) six and half minutes in and eventually led by 15 before settling for a 41-29 edge at intermission. The Waves made things interesting throughout the second half as sophomore guard Keion Bell poured in 34 of his career-high 37 points.
Elias Harris had 20 points and 13 boards for his fourth double-double of the season. Steven Gray added 20 points.
