Post Falls Abuser Gets 7 Years

Christopher E. Williams, 32, of Post Falls, was sentenced Thursday to serve seven years in state prison, the Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office announced today. District Judge John Luster sentenced Williams to serve seven years, including the first two years of fixed time. Williams, who has a long misdemeanor and felony criminal history, pleaded guilty last month to pushing and hitting his ex-girlfriend during an argument. The county prosecutor also said that Williams pushed the victim down on top of her young daughter, then punched and choked her.
