… What those 2 political yards signs for former state legislator Jeff Alltus are doing along Hayden Lake Road on the way to Tobler’s Marina? A Berry Picker spotted them on a drive during the 4th of July weekend, one on each side of the road (although the one on the righthand sign had fallen over). Alltus, of course, is the religious conservative who served in the Legislature for three terms from District 3 before bowing out at the end of 2000. Gordon Crow was the state senator and Jim Clark the other state representative from the district.
