TGIF Wild Card — 7.9.10

I’m flying a little blind today — and probably Monday, too. I’m sending my office computer to the downtown office for some TLC that’s needed after the virus attack earlier this week. So I’m using my laptop at work. Which. Means. Things. Are. A bit. Slower. For me. I don’t have access to all the bells & whistles that makes this Web site hum on most days. Therefore, I’ll cut the roundups down to one or two today because they take a long time to do. Otherwise, I’ll try to stay on top of things, including the scanner, which has been producing a stream of interesting things this morning. As always. Be patient.
