CdA Woman Wins NIC’s $265K House

Joyce Broemmeling of Coeur d’Alene was the grand prize winner of a $265,000 house in the NIC Foundation’s 17th annua Really BIG Raffle drawing Wednesday night. A crowd of 2000 ticket holders sat in lawn chairs at Fort Sherman Park on the grounds of the college to witness the drawing. Students from the NIC carpentry program built the house won by Broemmeling. Other raffle winners were: $20,000 car — Sandy Rustad of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with ticket. $10,000 boat — Carolyn Baragar of Coeur d’Alene. $3500 travel package — Marian Ackerman of Coeur d’Alene. $2000 shopping spree — Nancy Lucas of Post Falls/ Stacy Hudson , NIC Press Room.
