Rounding out war tally

The Spokesman-Review

Bill Sahlberg (Letters, May 25) forgot to mention two other devastating wars brought to us by Democratic presidents: Korea with over 33,000 deaths of U.S. forces and Vietnam with 58,000 deaths.

True, Iraq and Afghanistan were brought to us by George W. with 4,400 deaths in Iraq and close to 1,100 in Afghanistan by recent accounts. No death is to be treated lightly, but it appears the Democrats are leading in this arena.
