Oily GOP hands out

Here’s a surprise. The Republicans are blaming the Democrats for the Gulf oil disaster while quietly removing their spill-baby-spill buttons so they can cry out for federal intervention in the business world, even though they have rallied against it for decades.

Meanwhile the overpaid Republican pit bulls, Limbaugh, Hannity and O’Reilly, assure everyone alternative energy is, of course, not the answer.

The real reason Republicans don’t support wind or solar energy is simple. The big oil and gas companies don’t already have the land leases everywhere the wind blows and sun shines. Also, you can only charge people for the equipment they need, instead of a liquid you can arbitrarily raise the price of every summer and winter.
