WSU stays alive with win over KSU

A quick post to update you on what’s going on with Washington State’s baseball team in the NCAAs. The Cougars fell behind 6-1, then rallied with eight runs in the fifth and sixth innings combined before holding on for a 9-6 victory. Derek Jones was the big bat, with five RBI including a three-run home run in the sixth. WSU will face Arkansas starting at 5 tonight. They must defeat the Razorbacks twice to keep their season alive. We’ll keep you abreast of tonight’s result as well.
