Sandpoint Cuts Back On Fireworks Show
Organizers of a Fourth of July fireworks show in this northern Idaho lakeside town say the economic downturn will force them to scale back on the 30-minute spectacle of lights. John Hunt of the Sandpoint Lions Club says the fireworks show can cost up to $35,000, which is a price tag that major sponsors of the event in the past can no longer afford.
