Immigration policy a failure

The Spokesman-Review

We have a failed immigration policy. We need Latino labor, but we must secure our borders and expand legal channels for citizenship and guest worker programs. It is impossible to have a comprehensive immigration policy until we have border security.

The border fence is working in California – the result, illegal traffic has increased in Arizona. The Obama administration has canceled funding for the border fence.

The federal government has failed its obligation to control the border. The governor and Legislature of Arizona are attempting to enforce the federal law to protect their citizens.

There are some people and organizations that want an “open border policy”: Mexican drug cartels, Mexican immigrant traffickers, President Calderon of the corrupt government of Mexico who has caused the exodus of their people, the rich who pay little tax and shameful wages, President Obama and the Democratic Congress that stood and applauded President Calderon when he condemned our border policy, ACLU, sanctuary cities of San Francisco and Seattle, mayor of Los Angeles, LaRaza, George Soros, SEIU (largest public employee union).

If you are concerned with the current border problem, Mexico could have a revolution and millions would attempt to leave.
