Oversight good for officers

I have just one question for the men who are running for Spokane County prosecutor: “Will you prosecute a law enforcement officer?”

How embarrassing it is for the FBI to come in and do Prosecuting Attorney Steve Tucker’s job. Do not misconstrue my remarks. Not all of the officers and sheriff’s deputies are rogue, but the ones that take the law into their own hands taint the entire force. I would think that the Guild would endorse someone who would keep them accountable and take the necessary steps to rebuild the trust between those who are “sworn to protect and serve” and the community.

Spokane, demand accountability from our elected officials. Let’s not forget they work for us.
