Reduce postal delivery days

The Spokesman-Review

The Postal Service is now proposing adjustments to their delivery schedule, which may mean no mail service on Saturday. Bravo! About time. I think I can live with only five days of junk mail. As far as I’m concerned, they could deliver mail only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

With such a reduced schedule, they might actually be gainfully employed for a full day. Additionally, the extra time off would allow them to do their grocery and other shopping using their own vehicles rather than Post Office vehicles, as I have seen done.
