Check credentials and references before letting someone in your home.
I’ve been encouraging you to be on the Looky Loo for Leaks.
I would like to make another suggestion before you ever let anyone into your home, please check out references and credentials. Recently in our local news, there was a report on poser(s) pretending to be from Avista or Vera Power and Light. Don’t be fooled or taken advantage of when trying to improve the performance of your home. Do your due diligence.
Retro-memory moment: I remember when home inspectors first entered the marketplace years ago. As a Realtor, we encouraged homeowners do their due diligence to get qualified professional into their homes. The same common-sense applies today when selecting a professional to perform energy inspections/audits.
Do yourself a favor and prepare a little before just making “a call” to just anyone. Check out these websites for some helpful information:

The whole idea of better performing homes, is lower Monthly bills for you. Remember that sayin’ “a penny saved, is a penny earned.”
Be wise, choose qualified certified energy professionals.
