Area teams out of title picture
The Shadle Park boys and girls basketball teams lost in the semifinals of the State 3A basketball tournaments in Tacoma while the previously undefeated West Valley girls team lost in the 2A semifinals at Yakima.
The Shadle boys lost to Enumclaw 46-34. The Highlander girls fell to Holy Names 47-42.
Prosser defeated the West Valley girls 55-41.
