Thanks to Craig Baker (Letters, March 5) for the best idea yet on what to do with the old YMCA site in the park. An aquarium would take Spokane to the next level as a world-class city. It’s an investment that would serve everyone’s interests and deliver endless delight to all who live or visit here.

Spokane is a city of surprising vitality and diversity. What a lovely addition to our historic carousel, our beautiful fountain and our wild basalt riverbed. I’m inspired.
