No ID Yet On Body Found In River

The sheriff’s department is continuing their investigation of the body removed from the Spokane River near Richards Road on Saturday. No cause of death has been determined. An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday. Investigators say the body appears to have been in the water for several weeks or months. There is no identification on the body even though the body was wearing clothes indicative of cooler weather. The body is of a white male possibly between the ages of 20 and 35 years. He has several distinctive tattoos.
