Partisanship put aside

The Spokesman-Review

I was raised to keep my religious, political and child-rearing views to myself, but I believe it is very important to support Sen. Chris Marr after the comments made by his opponent. I value Sen. Marr as a fair and conscientious politician, regardless of what party he belongs to.

While many are not above “slinging mud” and refuse to work with the opposition, Sen. Marr has worked fairly with both parties to create what is best for the state of Washington and the county of Spokane.

Whether you agree with Sen. Marr or not, you have to agree he is a gentleman politician. He does not incorporate personal backbiting, rumors and innuendos into his rhetoric. A rare quality these days, indeed.
