Natural gas leak near North Pines Middle School

Spokane Valley Fire crews are responding to a reported natural gas leak in the 11700 block of East Alki behind North Pines Middle School. The dispatcher said someone was doing some digging and hit a gas line. Residents report hearing hissing. They are shutting down Alki as I type, so try to avoid the area.
