Coeur d’Alene to title game

The Coeur d’Alene football team, thanks to a blocked punt late by senior Drew Turbin that set up the winning touchdown, downed the Capital Eagles 28-24 in a 5A state semifinal Saturday afternoon at Boise State University’s Bronco Stadium.

Coeur d’Alene (10-1) will meet Centennial (9-2) on Friday at the Kibbie Dome in the state championship game. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
