Other than Washington’s win in Seattle, Thursday was a pretty dead day in Pac-10 sports, including Pullman. But we found a few items to share, so read on.

• Washington State: We talked about the tickets remaining for Apple Cup and the WSU football banquet yesterday on this post , but thought it would make sense to remind you that it’s still possible to attend either or both if you want. … As for on the field news, all we can offer is our story concerning the Qwest Field game with Oregon State next season. There has been decent discussion about the move all over the Net, and here as well. Just wondered how you folks thought about playing a conference game in Seattle instead of Pullman. … Over at Cougfan, they looked at the financial ramifications of the move. … The other aspect, which we haven’t discussed much, is the school has built a whole Seattle Week around the football game in the past decade. That’s important to President Elson S. Floyd. And keeping the man in charge happy is important to the athletic department.
