UI shoots 12 percent in loss to Griz

Idaho absorbed its worst defeat in a decade Monday night, falling at Montana 75-33. The Vandals shot 12 percent from the field (6 of 50) and made just 1 of 13 3-point attempts in generating their lowest point total since 2000. The most lopsided loss for UI before Monday came against Gonzaga, also in 2000. “I think what’s most disappointing about this game is we didn’t compete,” Idaho  coach Don Verlin said. “The bottom line is that they made the first two 3-pointers of the game, and we didn’t compete.” The Vandal bench was 0-for-14 from the field while Luiz Toledo led the team with 16 points.
