Arpie: IACI Attacks Allred On Exemptions

Arpie: I got a post card from the Idaho Prosperity Fund (AKA IACI) today blasting liberal Democrat Keith Allred for being willing to go after tax exemptions. The card is misleading to say the least, by claiming Allred is aiming to raise taxes. The card’s tag line is an obfuscation: “Who’s going to pay the difference?” With the exemptions in place, we end up paying the difference now. As we get rid of exemptions the burden is shared by more of us and our taxes will go down.

Question: Who would you trust more for guidance on the dozens of sales tax exemptions in Idaho — gubernatorial candidate Keith Allred of the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry (IACI)?
