Vandals lead 17-10 at half
The Idaho football team played well at times during the first half against Western Michigan — very well, in fact, after a perfectly executed fake punt that Shiloh Keo ran for big yardage. On the next play, Nate Enderle lofted a 30-yard touchdown pass to Kama Bailey, the first of two TD passes for Enderle. The Vandals led 17-3 before Enderle was sacked and fumbled inside Idaho’s own 20. That set up Western Michigan’s only touchdown of the half.
Idaho held WMU’s passing attack — ranked fourth in the nation — to 33 yards in the first half. Alex Carder was 5 of 16 with a TD and interception.
