Witt ruling cause for thanks

Thank you to federal Judge Ronald Leighton for his decision in the case of Maj. Margaret Witt. This enlightened judge is a breath of fresh air.

And especially, thank you to Maj. Witt for having the courage of her convictions and standing up for her constitutional rights.

And thank you also, Maj. Witt, for your 18 years of service. The 14th Amendment provides guarantees for all citizens of the United States, no exceptions. I have no doubt that “don’t ask, don’t tell” will be overturned. Perhaps this decision will hurry that process along.
